History will be rewritten in January 2004 when British businessman and Muscular Dystrophy sufferer
Michael McGrath becomes the first disabled person in the world to reach both North and South Poles.
This will complete the 2nd phase of a two-year project called pole2pole, the inaugural
event of The Muscle Help Foundation. This event seeks to raise in excess of £1 million for research into relief
from muscle disorders including Muscular Dystrophy, a progressive muscle wasting disease.
